Once precious, a timeworn memory of a love passed, this olden Georgian mourning ring is a miraculous survivor from around two centuries past. Worn to remember; and keep a loved one close, it is crafted in 18ct Gold with a floriate Rococo styled carved band either side of the central compartment which holds a tiny crystal topped locket edged by an Acanthus frame; this protecting a nicely woven plait of hair.
Circa 1820's and still an adorable and poignant keepsake, it is hand engraved to the reverse with three intertwined initials: as complete and touching as she ever was, a privilege to hold.
Metal: 9ct Gold over a base metal form (one can see the slight wear at places along the edges).
Ring Size: The ring size is a 'O' or '7' as is, we'd rather not tamper with this.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
