An especially handsome vintage men's seal style Banded Agate signet ring in the style which has been worn since ancient times. A scarcer find, this Banded Agate seal is layered to striking effect with a naturally occurring white band. The shield shape of the setting speaks heraldic vibes and, all hand crafted there are romantic touches with the hand engraved floral decoration to the shoulders (which we have retouched by our clever hand engraver to bring back the crispness).
Fashioned in mid tone 18ct yellow Gold, this prestigious piece dates to the mid 18th century circa 1860's and would have been a most prestigious item to own, displaying your status and cultured turn of mind.
Stones: naturally banded Black Onyx
Metal: 18ct yellow Gold (tested but unmarked). Weighs 6.6 grams.
Ring Size: T or 9.5 as is but suitable to alter for fit. This is a free service, just leave a message on your order form.
