Unusual in that it is such a high profile carving and also in being front facing, and that the range of colours through the shell have been used to create an extra dimension of shadow relief upon the carving. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe has the classical Grecian profile and her tumbled tresses have been wonderfully captured.
