A ring influenced by the Arts & Crafts Movement in the UK which included such artists as William Morris and Ruskin themselves inspired by Auguste Pugin the Gothic Revivalist who was active in earlier 19th century.
Very special, this wonderful antique Diamond ring dates to the latter 19th century and is a complete and harmonious design with finely hand carved Gothic scrolled shoulders centring around a uniquely beautiful old hand faceted mine cut natural Diamond. A quiet contemplation which takes motifs seen in ecclesiastical architecture as an inspiration.
The beautifully twinkly hand cut olden Diamond itself (which we have measured at around 0.65ct) is suspended in a flowersesque 'belcher' setting reminiscent of those seen in Mediaeval jewellery in museums. In truly lovely condition for its age, this gorgeous creation would make a most incredible engagement ring for the history lover!

Ring Size: A ring size 'M' or '6' we can size to suit.
